In today’s article we show you how to delegate KLV to the Devikins validator, and what that means.

Whenever you stake KLV for yourself you have the option to do what’s called delegation — something which could be compared to voting power. The amount of power you get is based on the amount of KLV staked.

The validator is just that: a validator. It is required to validate transactions on the Klever Blockchain. Each validator requires a sum total of 10,000,000 KLV (ten million) in delegations to be eligible to validate these transactions.

Here’s how to delegate KLV to the Devikins Validator:

  1. Download Klever Wallet 5 Beta
  2. Go to your KLV account and select Staking
  3. First, stake your KLV
  4. After staking, go to Manage Buckets
  5. In the Buckets screen you can check your staking amounts. Tap on one of them to delegate it
  6. In the confirmation box, select Delegate
  7. In the Validators search box, type Devikins and select the Devikins Validator
  8. Finally, confirm your delegation
  9. Congrats! You’re now delegating to the Devikins Validator. Remember to claim your staking rewards from time to time under Staking
