As a person who strives to make a living online, I have to say that earning cash on Redbubble can be a fun challenge.

In April of 2020, an author published a very insightful article on a popular blogging website about how he was marketing his photography all over Redbubble merchandise for passive income. So I decided to give it a try; what could go wrong?

It was simple to set up a Redbubble store; all that’s needed is an email address and a username, and you were good to go!

Next, I had to find images that would sell To cover Redbubble’s product range, I was asked to choose images that were at least 9075 x 6201 pixels in JPEG format and had a minimum file size of 2MB.

I decided that a collection of sunset photos would be a good place to start…

However, I desired more variety, so I began photographing various scenes in and around my hometown, as well as distant locations…

After collecting a catalog of images that were suitable, I started to get my “marketing” going. I posted the images on Instagram and Facebook groups,

However, nothing really happened for the first week despite my best efforts. So as expected, I became quite discouraged. I logged off Redbubble and thought nothing more of it.

However, sometime next month, it happened… An email appeared in my inbox — “You’ve Made A Sale — 54241311 (US$7.53).”

This was the first sale I had ever made on the platform, and it was overwhelming. I was just thrilled that I could actually make some money.

It turned out that someone had purchased a shirt + a large sticker from my Redbubble store, and that’s when I knew this was a legitimate way to earn those extra bucks on the side.

The rush was surreal, I quickly grabbed my camera, and started snapping photos of everything remotely interesting, from snow-covered trees to waterfalls, and just about anything that caught my eye.

And the rest is history.

To this day I have amassed a portfolio of 8300 images.

And im currently making $500–$1200 a month

For some, it’s not much, but for me, it’s a success and a reminder that hard work pays off.

If anyone is thinking about doing the same, I recommend you set up a Redbubble store, it’s not hard to do, and if you put your time and energy into it. It will pay off! Although, My advice is: don’t set your expectations too high when you first get started, just stay consistent and money will come eventually!
P.S. Remember to keep your tags relevant! this helps your conversion rate and will boost your sales.
